The Best Moments

I got my first hug from B1 yesterday. I scooped him out of his crib after his nap, and he threw his little arms around my neck and squeezed for all he was worth making happy little baby burbles. It was THE BEST. He also sat on my lap and tried to snatch my glasses off my face for about half an hour after lunch, and put his tiny little hand on my cheek giving me a giant smile, just gazing at me like I was the best thing since sliced bread or something. Lol. That little boy loves his mama.

B1 loves life. Absolutely everything he’s encountered except for maybe baths in the big tub makes him so excited. He has an exuberance for life already and it makes me so happy. I love watching him experience new things. It’s going to be great here in a few weeks when he starts on baby food. Flavor is going to blow his little baby mind. Lol.

Baby food. Already, and a few more months after that? Big people food. The first year goes by so fast, it’s shocking really. It goes by faster with two infants. Two amazingly different infants, each learning and growing at their own pace with their unique personalities shining through. The best moments.
