So, as my long time followers can see, I’ve revamped the blog a bit. Nothing is really changing as far as how/what I write. My old domain name was scheduled to expire, and instead of forking out the money to renew it I decided to take the opportunity to shake things up a bit.
So here we are starting over… AGAIN. This is like the forth incarnation of my blog over the years. Lol. Although I do have to say starting over this time is much less a pain and kind of refreshing since I’m not running or trying to hide from people. That was the guise for my changes in the past, but now it’s all me. No outside influences contributing toward my decision, other than my own carelessness in keeping track of the bills last month.
But enough about that. A reintroduction:
I’m Kat, married to Hubs mom of three kids. A three year old daughter (Little) and infant twin boys (B1, B2). I’ve been blogging about my own life and the challenges of marriage since 2011, motherhood since 2012, and the recovery process I went through after being diagnosed with PTSD and some other mental issues in 2013. I’ve been in complete remission since July of 2015, and pretty much finished writing about the past events which lead to developing the disorder last year. Right now, for the first time in a long time, I’m choosing to focus on the present challenge of tending to twins, a toddler, and my plans for the future.
I also dabble in short stories, poetry and novel writing, participating in NaNoWriMo for the last three years. I don’t really have a specific format, or theme to my blogging. It’s just kind of a hodgepodge collection of whatever pops into my head and then some. Hence the patchwork part of my title. Lol. Welcome to the new folks, and thanks for sticking around to the old folks. It’s going to be an interesting year to say the least. 🙂
