There’s a special place in hell..

Preach! I rarely get along with other women for this exact reason. I see no reason to compete over trivial things, especially when we SHOULD be helping each other overcome the petty imagined rivalries society shoves down our throats.

I have truly felt the truth behind those words. There is just something so unnatural, so wrong with competitiveness, sexual rivalries, assorted quests for dominance among women. The cruelty women can engage in, the viciousness of the games we are capable of playing, the deceitful behavior, the gossip, the betrayals, all speak to the fact that women really are our own worst enemy.

I say this is unnatural behavior because I truly believe women were intended to work cooperatively with each other, to encourage and support each other on our journeys. It is only when something goes wrong that you wind up with this pecking order quest for imaginary or perceived status. Fighting for crumbs, I call it.

This is so not my world, in fact it’s a world I didn’t even know existed…
