Not the Hales You’re Looking For

Finally solved the mystery of my annoying cyber hackers. Apparently there is another Hale family somewhere in our neighborhood. I bet whoever is giving us network grief is really looking for them. At least I hope that’s the case because the alternative is my stalkers are back and that’s never good for anyone.

Yes, there are benefits of having a common last name, and there are things like this. Lol. Our little branch of Hales are mostly good people, the other Hales in town? Not so much. I routinely get grilled every time I go to pay bills in person because the other Kelli Hale is a flake. They’ve even tried to get me to pay some of her bills before at the utility company and hospital. Of course, only I could move hundreds of miles away to a tiny little rural town and find some one with the exact same name.

What’s even worse is the Other Kelli is like 45, and people still confuse us. I know I look a bit weathered for my 28 years, but certainly not THAT much. Unless she’s aged extremely well? I’ve never met her. Lol. At any rate, I’m glad the mystery is solved and I have one less thing to worry about. Lol.

  1. OMG. I don’t know what I would do if I was a Smith or a Johnson. lol. I actually didn’t even know Hale was so common until we were married. I’d never heard it before!
