Hocus Focus

I’m removing all distractions from my life until I can get my mind back in shape. I have been a frazzled mess for like three weeks now and it’s starting to affect The House of Hale. I completely forgot to pay bills last week, but I spent the money on other things. On top of our recent bank escapade our savings is now completely empty and it’s the slow time of year when Kevin looses his over time. We still have more than enough to pay our bills, but we don’t have our savings buffer in case things slip my mind again.Ā

So I’m taking a break from the interwebs for a while. I still plan on blogging, but it might not be as frequently as usual, and I deactivated all the rest of my social media stuff not related to the blog. I’m not mad at anyone, nor am I hiding anything. I just need a break. I’ll be back. šŸ™‚ Those of you with my number can call/text as needed. Everyone else can get a hold of me here. Thanks for sticking it out with me Bloggies. Until later! šŸ™‚

  1. From the Charles Swindoll Insight I read just before coming here…\

Give us a rallying point around Your grace, dear Lord. We need that point of focus, our times being as they are . . . and our moods so given to change. Thank You that Christ loves us and keeps on loving us. Thank You that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Thank You that the grace that saved us keeps us saved . . . regardless of our doubts and other weird feelings.
